Curtis Gibbs, President, Early's Honey Stand
Curtis Gibbs grew up in Franklin where he graduated from BGA and then attended the University of Memphis. While he was there, he competed in both Cross Country and Track & Field and graduated with a degree in Economics and Math. During his senior year in college, Curtis designed, built, and opened a full-service coffee shop that operated for a number of years in 2 separate locations. Upon graduation, Curtis was instrumental in the acquisition of Early's Honey Stand, the oldest retail company in Williamson County that is celebrating its 100-year anniversary this year. Curtis has operated Early’s since 2011, growing the overall business revenue several multiples since then. In addition, Curtis has been heavily involved in managing several family-owned commercial developments where he has negotiated countless leases including several restaurant and craft brewery leases. Most recently, Curtis has engineered the acquisition of the Tennessee Peanut Company that is now brought under the Early’s umbrella. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and traveling with his wife, baby daughter & dog.Agenda Highlights:
