Hyden Beach is hosting our 4th Annual Beach Volleyball Tournament in support of Operation Gratitude. We encourage seasoned players, recreational players, families, juniors, adults, everyone to come on out and support this great cause. No need to have experience in sand volleyball, sign up for recreational level and have fun!
COED Quads divisions for all levels are available. Check in will begin at 8:30am and we will start play at 9:00am.
Based on the number of teams, we will run pool play followed by bracket play. We will shoot to get in as many games as possible and be done by 4:00-4:30pm. Prizes will be awarded to the first and second place teams in all divisions.
Format for the COED QUADS is at least one female on the court at all times. If only three players, one MUST be female. No team for Quads can play with less than three players. Juniors and adults are welcome in all divisions! This event is to have FUN while supporting a great cause! If you don't play much volleyball, sign up for recreational level and have a blast!
Operation Gratitude is a 501(c)(3) that supports our military and first responders through collection drives, letter writing campaigns, craft projects, and care package assembly events. Operation Gratitude provides civilians anywhere in America a way to say “Thank You” (www.operationgratitude.com).
Hyden Beach is hosting it's 4th annual tournament supporting Operation Gratitude. This year, we will have a letter writing table for anyone who wants to write a letter to a deployed soldier or frontline responder. These will be sent to Operation Gratitude to be added to care packages. Proceeds for the event will go to Operation Gratitude. If you are unable to play or do not live locally but still want to serve this organization, feel free to donate directly to Operation Gratitude HERE.
In years past, we assembled care packages on-site and delivered them to our local fire and police departments. This year we will be receiving those same care packages already assembled and will deliver them to the Spring Hill, TN Fire and Police Departments the week following the event! No assembly needed!
