This month's speaker will be Dan Masters - Hell by the Acre: A Narrative History of the Stones River Campaign, November 1862-January 1863. Daniel A. Masters earned his BA in Communications from the University of Toledo. He is perhaps most recognized for his well-regarded blog, Dan Masters’ Civil War Chronicles, where he explores the Civil War in the Western Theater through the eyes of the soldiers who fought in it. Dan has also written several articles for Civil War periodicals and several books on the subject of the Civil War in the western theater. And for those that wish to visit Stones River National Park prior to or after Sunday's talk.
