Join us for an educational webinar regarding current CDC guidelines, Employer Vaccine Protocols and Best Practices with Maury Regional Health, Employment Law Attorney Fred Bissinger, HR consultant Missy Meador and General Motors. 

Dr. Chaney from Maury Regional Health will provide current COVID-19 data, CDC guidelines for exposure, the Delta variant, and vaccine efficacy. 

Missy Meador will  speak on how to handle employee concerns regarding vaccine policies and considerations about messaging for policy. 

FREDRICK J. BISSINGER will speak about EEO considerations when implementing a vaccine policy. 

Jeffrey Lamarche will discuss the strategies implemented at the GM plant regarding the COVID-19 vaccine and share best practices developed to both protect employees and to continue production. 

About the Speakers:


Martin M. Chaney, M.D., serves as chief medical officer (CMO) for Maury Regional Health. He has more than 20 years of clinical and management experience. As CMO, Dr. Chaney maintains responsibility for the areas of clinical quality, physician relations and physician recruitment as well as the Hospital Medicine program. He received his medical degree from University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. He completed his internship and residency at University of South Alabama Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Chaney is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics.


Missy Meador, MHR is the owner of HCMG (Human Capital Management Group, LLC) located in Franklin, TN.  Missy provides Human Resources consulting and outsourcing for businesses that wish to either augment their existing Human Resources or move those functions off-site.  Her work includes both transactional and strategic aspects of Human Resources, including such task as employee relations, employee retention planning, compensation planning, benefits management, recruiting, training and employee development.  She earned her Master of Human Resources Management (MHR) from Lipscomb University.  She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).  She has served several boards that includes the Maury Alliance, Boys and Girls Club of Maury County, Columbia Breakfast Rotary Community Fund, and Tennessee Scenic Rivers Association.  She is a Past President of the Columbia Breakfast Rotary and Assistant Governor for Maury County Rotary Clubs.  She has served as membership chair for the Maury County Chamber.  She has been actively involved in Maury County for over 25 years.

FREDRICK J. BISSINGER is Regional Managing Member of the Nashville, Tennessee office of the firm, which he joined in 1999.  His law practice includes an emphasis in handling employment discrimination and wrongful discharge matters at both the administrative level and in Federal and State Court litigation.  His practice also includes an emphasis on ADA and FMLA compliance, as well as general liability matters. 


Jeffrey Lamarche is the Plant Executive Director for General Motors Spring Hill Manufacturing and was named to his current position in January 2020. His current responsibilities include vehicle assembly, metal stamping, and component injection molding for Cadillac XT5 & XT6 and GMC Acadia crossover vehicles.

Lamarche, who joined GM in 1981, has an extensive manufacturing background with more than 35 years of experience. He has led many GM manufacturing plants in the United States and Mexico including Corvette and HD pickup assembly, transmission and engine assembly, stamping, and battery assembly.  

A Southern California native, Lamarche began his career at a vehicle assembly plant in Los Angeles while pursuing a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree at Kettering University. He graduated in 1986. He also holds a Master’s degree from Loyola Marymount University.

Lamarche has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the United Way of Genesee County and the National Corvette Museum. Away from work, he enjoys landscaping, movies, and golf. He is married and has twin children.
