- Increased Sales: While residents are not required to purchase anything for a Passport sticker from each participant, the Passport program incentivizes residents and visitors to explore more local businesses through a potential grand prize, often leading to an uptick in sales for participating establishments.
- Strengthen Community Bonds: By joining hands with other local businesses and the Chamber through this program, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering community spirit, encouraging local shopping, and reinforcing the importance of supporting the local economy. This is an affordable social media marketing campaign with prime opportunity to showcase your company's community spirit by showcasing your owners/managers/employees using the Passport around town themselves.
Passport Description:
The Spring Hill Chamber is hosting its annual Think, Shop, Explore Local Passport program in October 2024. This educational and shop local passport program is a supplement to Experience Spring Hill, The Event, aimed at encouraging Spring Hill residents to get to know the area's retail businesses, restaurants, local services, and other providers with grand prize incentives. The program will run October 1-31, 2024.
Overview of program:
Beginning in October residents will pick up a Think, Shop, Explore Local passport at any participating business. They will be encouraged to visit as many of the participating businesses during the program to receive a sticker for their passport. To qualify for the grand prize, residents must collect a set number of stickers to be eligible. Completed passports must be turned in on or before the established deadline to the Spring Hill Chamber Welcome Center at 5326 Main Street, Suite G. A drop box will also be located on the front porch of the Welcome Center for convenience. Winners will be announced at the end of the event on the Spring Hill Chamber’s Facebook page. A detailed list of participating businesses and prizes will be on the Chamber's website.
Three ways to participate:Once registered, we will send you all the program details and provide the items needed at your location. We will also hold a Q&A on Zoom for all participants. Planned marketing for this program includes a digital campaign, signs/banners, and local media.
- Businesses can participate by becoming a location participant (a spot on the passport) for only $200. As a participant, your business will be listed as one of the participants on the website, listed on the passport card to be distributed to residents who participate, and listed as a pick-up location. You will receive a special poster and a table-top passport station to help you advertise the passport program to the public.
- Businesses can also provide an item for the grand prize giveaways (you will be listed on the website and in social media). You do not have to participate as a stop on the passport to be included in the grand prize giveaways. Please fill out the passport prize form here.
- Businesses can be a sponsor. There are a couple of sponsorships opportunities still available. The details are below, and we invite you to email us if you are interested.
