Assistant Commissioner of Strategic Initiatives,
Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development

Lyndi Berrones is the Assistant Commissioner of Strategic Initiatives at the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, where she spearheads marketing, innovation, and strategic planning efforts. She has been instrumental in attracting major companies to Tennessee, contributing to over 30,000 new jobs and $6 billion in capital investments. A recipient of multiple awards, Berrones holds a master?s degree in international business and actively contributes to her community as a cheerleading coach.

🎙 Michael Skipper
Executive Director
Greater Nashville Regional Council

Michael Skipper is the Executive Director of the Greater Nashville Regional Council (GNRC), having led the organization since its integration with the Nashville Area Metropolitan Planning Organization in 2016. With over 25 years of experience in public policy and regional planning, he has significantly contributed to transportation and community development initiatives across Middle Tennessee. Michael also serves as the lead facilitator for the Middle Tennessee Mayors Caucus, promoting regional cooperation and innovative leadership on critical issues.

🎙 Nathan Zipper
Chief Economic Development Officer
Williamson, Inc.

Nathan Zipper is the Chief Economic Development Officer for Williamson, Inc. In his role as Chief Economic Development Officer, Nathan provides leadership to the economic development team as they work collectively to ensure Williamson County continues to be a wonderful place to pursue a meaningful career and raise a family. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an MBA from the University of Memphis.

Vice President, Economic Development
Maury County Chamber & Economic Alliance

Travis R. Groth is the Vice President of Economic Development at the Maury County Chamber & Economic Alliance, where he oversees recruitment, workforce development, and site development programs. He brings a diverse background that includes serving on the White House staff and working in Japan, enhancing his expertise in international and domestic economic strategies. Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is a certified Master Economic Development Practitioner.
